Tenuta Cucco is a family-run winery. When Giorgio Rossi Cairo purchased it in 2015, he and his son Piero immediately introduced organic farming principles to the vineyard and winery, obtaining certification in 2018. Having been involved in La Raia, a 200-hectare estate in the heart of Gavi where they grow Cortese, Piemonte Barbera and Pinot Noir grapes using biodynamic methods, this was an inevitable step for them.
