Producing authentic Nebbiolo and Barolo, the stars of an extraordinary history, and paying more attention than ever to the uniqueness and fragility of the environment from which they are born, is the choice we have made. We have been an organic winery since 2018 and are committed every day to promoting the biodiversity of this part of the Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The vineyards are grassed with green manure to strengthen the vitality of the soil and therefore the plants. In 2021, we began a program of planting local trees such as downy oak, hornbeam, field maples, and cherry trees along the edges of the vineyards. These interventions aim to introduce greater diversity to this extraordinary environment, and with it, to attract and protect the insects and animals that call this area home. This benefits the entire ecosystem.
